Children's Accident and Emergency

 

An A and E unit specifically for youngsters opened in 2007 adjoining the Royal Bolton Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department.

The unit, for children and young people under 16, has five multifunctional treatment and assessment rooms, four assessment beds, a resuscitation area plus its own waiting and play area.
